Description
This commemorative coin, gold in color, features the Grand Seal of the Grand Lodge of Mississippi, F. & A. M. on one side, and a commemorative decoration for the Bicentennial of the United States of America.
In the center are two crossed flags, one with 13 stars, and the other with 50. Between their poles rests the cracked Liberty Bell, beneath which is written “Masonry the epitome of freedom”.
Across the outer edge are the words “Bicentennial of American Independence 1776-1976”, beneath which is written “W. Ford Harrington Grand Master February 1976”, who served as Grand Master of Masons of Mississippi in 1975-1976.
